We design together with the client (co-design) so as to maximise the technical result at the lowest cost possible (design to cost). To do this, DQG has created an internal structure dedicated to construction sites, with a specialised team of more than 10 technicians who work alongside the client, step by step.

The main phases of Project Management

Consultancy and technical feasibility
After inspecting the construction site and/or seeing the floor plans, the technical team can give an opinion on project feasibility from a door and window casings viewpoint. Identifying and managing the risks and technical criticality levels of a project is a fundamental aspect for an excellent final result.

Budget definition
During this phase we work together with the designer to define an economic budget according to the technical characteristics and aesthetics to be obtained.

Co-design and design-to-cost
DQG takes part in the design phase together with those involved in the project. This phase is useful for collecting the technical and style requirements, fully exploring all the problems that can appear in the interface between the window openings and the rest of the building face; doing this helps accelerate preparation of the supply specification. The next phase is design-to-cost (DTC), during which our technical office, always working together with the client, analyses the improvements that can be made to the window openings so as to reduce actualisation costs without nullifying the final quality of the manufactured item.

Offer development
The preliminary work carried out up to this point allows us to draft a detailed, extremely precise sales offer for the client.

Actualisation of the technical drawings for installation
When the offer has been accepted, the technical drawing team elaborates shop drawings and drafts the product description sheets.

Taking on-site measurements
This phase, which is extremely important for good project results, when needed, is carried out directly by our personnel – site technicians with long-time experience and dedicated exclusively to this job who follow the project from a technical point of view until it has been completed.

Production
Doors, windows and casings begin taking shape in the more than 10,000 m2 of our production plant in Gambellara, in the province of Vicenza. With a perfect mix of industrial efficiency and the attention to detail that is typical of artisan workmanship, our uPVC doors and windows are technically advanced, but at the same time have cared for perfect details.

Fitting
Correct fitting is a crucial aspect for correct casing operation. The procedure, materials and sensitivity of the installer are a fundamental plus for obtaining the performances intrinsic to the doors or windows and preserving their integrity and operation over time. This is why we strongly recommend to follow materials and fitting procedures defined by the DQG technicians.

After sales assistance and maintenance
The relationship with DQG continues even after door and window casings have been fitted: our after sales assistance and maintenance service is available to clients whenever needed.
