DQG supports the 1st ITF Future Wheelchair tournament
A very worthwhile event.
The 1st ITF Future Wheelchair tournament – DQG trophy was held from 5 to 7 September. This international sporting event for world wheelchair tennis athletes was played on the courts of the Palladio 98 tennis club in via del Vigo, Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza).
16 male and 8 female athletes from Italy, Great Britain, the United States, Cuba, Slovakia and Tanzania met on the red clay courts of the historic Vicenza club. The prize was 3,000 Euros and precious points for the world rankings, which gives access to the most important tournaments in the world.
DQG, always attentive to supporting and promoting local initiatives in the Vicenza area, participated as sponsor.
After three intense days of play, the prizes were awarded; our Sole Director Paolo Tosti, together with the tournament manager and founder of Tennis Palladio 98 Enrico Bettini, assigned the four titles being contented to those extraordinary athletes!
