DQG takes part in the first Energiespront intervention in Italy
High energy-saving casings for redeveloping current buildings in a fast, practical manner.
The first Energiesprong intervention for the in-depth, anti-seismic and full electric redevelopment of the existing real estate has reached Italy.
The project, which started in Holland and has now spread to France, the UK, Germany and the state of New York with more than 6,000 redeveloped housing units, is being promoted in Italy thanks to EDERA, a no-profit innovation centre; the aim of the project is to quicken the current speed of real estate decarbonisation.
In Italy, more than 15 million homes have to be redeveloped within 2050 to centre the objective of carbon neutrality, and it has to be done considering the seismicity of the territory. It is a matter of about 1 home per minute for the next 28 years, which means tripling the number of interventions and doubling the efficacy. Abandoning gas and introducing integrated full electric solutions also makes it possible to face growing management costs and the problems of energy supply.
Traditional approaches are not accordant with these objectives, nor is partial or slight redevelopment, because the life horizons are too short.
With the start of the first Italian Energiesprong project, even our country is ready to demonstrate that in-depth, anti-seismic and “zero energy” (able to produce an amount of energy equal to the amount consumed) redevelopment can be done, intervening quickly, without scaffolding and without emptying homes of their inhabitants.
All this is possible thanks to the use of industrialised production. The reason why EDERA selected 22 companies of excellence in the housing field. Our company, which supplies the high energy-saving casings, is among them.
Our doors and windows will add a real contribution to this housing market redevelopment. The first supply will be delivered within the end of the year, leading to the closure of the first EnergieSprong Italia project. Stay tuned to find out about actualisation.
