This is not always the case, though: intrusions into homes are very frequent, above all during the winter. When the clocks change, many houses appear to be emptier at dusk and the direct hits intensify.
To avoid unpleasant surprises, an optimal alarm system is not enough. Optimal doors and windows are also necessary.
Like our casings, which received RC3 certification according to the DIN EN 1627 standard from the International Technology Centre Roto; this certification guarantees the highest level of security against burglary attempts that is available today on the uPVC casings market.
The RC3-certified range of DQG products includes fixed side windows, doors and windows, and it is available for the DQG 70, DQG 70 ALU, DQG 70 EVO, DQG 70 EVO PLUS, DQG 85 and DQG ALU systems.
What makes an RC3-certified casing stand out from a normal one? 7 characteristics:
- hardware all around the window frame and steel catchbolt;
- steel blocks that prevent the sash from being lifted;
- hardware anchored to the sash;
- handle with key;
- steel anti-drill plate, to protect the opening mechanism (cremone type);
- bigger steel supports inside the frame (2 mm), sash (3 mm), and on the central mullion (2 mm);
- burglar-proof glass, class P5A (5+5, PVB 2.28), and structural bonding between the glass and the glazing beads.
